Though I have not found the marriage of Johan Jorg Gieß this appears to be a child of his born 1689. I am unable to read the mothers name.
Then this marriage of Johann Philipp Gies--not sure how he is connected to the Gieß line yet--1693

The record dated 15 Dec 1689 is the burial record for Carl Magnus Gies, the elder of the twin boys born on 23 Nov 1689.

I don't think the mother's name is mentioned in the 1689 birth record, although it says she's deceased - from childbirth. The birth record is for twins - Carl Magnius and Joan (Johann) Friedrich.

That might explain this record I was about to send for translation: Anna Elisabeth--26 Nov and then 15 Dec. Johann Jorg mother was Anna Elisabeth and his wife according to baptism records of his children is Johanna Elisabeth.
