In the year 1844, 31 March, was born here at 6 in the morning, and on 4 April of this year at 3 in the afternoon was baptized in the church, Joseph, legitimate son of the local factory worker Augustin Brax and his wife Margareth nee Thieri, married citizens of Lauterburg. Godfather was the unmarried brother of the woman in childbed [mother] Josef Thieri of Lauterburg, currently factory worker here. Witnesses are Franz Schreiber, citizen and mason here, and Josef Vogel, citizen and day laborer in Busenbach.
