Merged record and ordinances
My wife did the ordinance work for a sister in her line. B,C, I, E, then another user merged the sister, changed the sister's name and deleted key info. What happens to the ordinances that were performed? Is there a way to go back and recreate the sister? What is the protocol at this point?

If the merge was valid, i.e. the two records were indeed for one person, then the ordinances carry forward to the remaining individual. If the two records were improperly merged and you are undoing the merge, then the ordinances will stay with the person for whom they were performed. If both records had ordinances performed, then there was duplicate work performed.

Additionally, after verifying identities and sources, suggest adding thorough explanation as a collaboration note, then messaging the other user to explain the presumed error. This may help prevent any future similar errors.
