May I please have a transcription and translation for the baptism record of Gottlieb Carl Babbel? What is the category listing for the names on the left side? Is that a city or village? The transcribed page says the baptism place is Puschdorf, Insterburg, Ostpreussen and this entry starts with an A. Do I assume correctly that this is a place and what place is this?

It's "Almenh." and abreviation for Almenhausen.

The protestant parish for Almenhausen was Puschdorf. There is no heading for the column on this page but I presume it is the town where the parents lived and the birth occurred. An earlier or later page might have a heading for the column.
