I am researching my husbands family on his fathers side...

I have gotten as far back as Schlaitdorf, Wuttemburg Germany in 1823...

I am hoping to find a map from 1823 and maybe a Coat of Arms/Family Crest..

Maybe a family member that is till there~

Any help would be appericated and greatful!

There are church records available for Schlaitdorf on FamilySearch. See https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/283512?availability=Family%20History%20Library They are indexed and the indexed results can be viewed at home. If you want to look at the digitized records, you will have to visit your local FamilySearch center.

For records in Württemberg, you can generally find a Familienbuch or Familienregister; these generally start around 1808. This is also true for Schlaitdorf and you'll want to use this as a starting point for your research, because each entry is essentially a compiled family group sheet for each family in that town. Sometimes, as was done here in Schlaitdorf, someone has gone back and created a Familienbuch prior to 1808.
