Im Jahre Eintausend Achthundert und fünf am 16 Junius starb der Heuerling Gerd Heinrich Schäper bey No. 30 in Gestringen, der Ehemann der Maria Elisabeth geb. Glasker, in einem Alter von 44 Jahren an der Schwindsucht, und wurde den 18. Junius 1805 begraben.

Translation:

In the year 1805, on June 16, Gerd Heinrich Schäper, husband of Maria Elisabeth née Glasker, died of consumption at the age of 44, and was buried on June 18, 1805.
