Tombstone translation for Margaretha Schmitt - May 23 May 1853 - 12 Sep 1870
Margaretha married on 29 Nov 1869 at age 16 but sadly died less than ten months later. She might have known that she was not destined to live a long life, thus the reason for getting married at a fairly young, but not uncommon, age. Her tombstone is well worn. But with the same help I've received with previous translations, we might solve this one too. Here are the two best photos I've been able to get.
And here is the best I've been able to do reading the tombstone.
Schlummer_ sanft an frieden allen G__
Gott__geben war dein Sinn
_in_m der treuen lache letzte Gabe
_och in _____ Th_ane ____
So, thanks in advance for any little bit of help anyone can render.

Here is my attempt. It's more a guess based on the metric and rhyme than actual reading:
Schlummere sanft im friedenvollen Grabe
Gottergeben war dein Sinn
Nimm der treuen Liebe letzte Gabe
Noch in einer Thräne hin
(Approximate) Translation:
Slumber gently in the peaceful grave
Godly was your mind
Take the last gift of faithful love
Still in a tear

Thanks Ulrich, your reading and interpretation appear perfect...... word for word and letter for letter. After further review, I can't find a single item with which I could disagree. That's it!! Thanks.
