How do I find the papers for my ancestor in : "Auswanderungsakten, 1526-1899"?
I found my great-great grandparents & family in "The Wurttemburg emigration Index" by Trudy Schenk, et al., which is, according to the catalog, "An index to emigrants shown in original Württemberg emigration records 1808-1890 which are available on microfilm in the Family History Library, cataloged under the name of the Oberamt where the emigrant applied for permission to emigrate." I located the FSL Digital Film #8236453 for the original emigrant applications. However, I do not read German and cannot make out the hand-writing. I have the Application Numbers for Johann Gottlieb Friz and his wife, Katharina Barbara Ommerle and four of their children who travelled with them. Is there a way to find their application papers using the application number? Or how? I attached the Ancestry.com version.
