Replace a Keyboard

We have a couple of keyboards where the letters are badly faded.
Can we just replace them from any source, or do we need to go through a specific channel to order new keyboards?

Keyboards are basically all the same, so I don't see why you shouldn't just buy another one to replace it. Whatever the keyboard looks like, the basic function is the same regardless of the computer make or model its attached to.
