Seeking baptism translation--Freis
This is a 1686 record with date in latin (I assume) I recognize Johan Philipp Freiß and Elisabetha Maria. I also recognize some familiar names found in many requests I send.
Is the childs name Johan Jorg? If so I have also attached what I think is the childs death. It too is a 1686 death date which I think indicates he was three years old. Please assist in figuring this out. Thank you .
I am so sorry to request such hard to read records. Thank you for trying. A link has been added to assist if needed. I am curious as to the word before Johann. I know this man was been written on other records to be a church leader and a lay judge.
(left side second down on the link is the record)

The first record is for the birth of a son, but I'm not seeing a name for the child. The second record is for the death of Johann Jörg, son of Johann Jörg Frieß, so they're not the same person.
Transcription of the first record -
Ibidem [see record above to get date/place] on the 19th of the same month Johann Philip Frieß [in Hinterthal?] and Elisabetha Maria married couple brought a little son for holy baptism. Godparents were Johann Jörg Frieß [can't read occupation] from here, Johann Christoffel [can't read] from Holtzhausen, Johann Henrich Piscator from here, and finally Niclaß Veit's wife Agnes, also from here, as godmother.
Transcription of the second record -
30th of the same month [July] was buried Johann Jörg Frieß's [can't read occupation] little son Johann Jörg. Age 3 years less 3 weeks

Another Frieß individual and so many duplicate names make searching confusing.
Would this first record be meaning the child was born in Hinterthal? This place seems to be a great distance from Greifenstein.

Hinterthal seemed strange to me too, since that's the first time it's appeared in connection with Frieß, right? The other towns mentioned in the record - "here" and Holtzhausen - are definitely in the vicinity of Greifenstein. If you look at the map of Greifenstein in Meyers Gaz https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10617005 you'll see a place called Hintere Lay with the number 540 just to the northwest of Greifenstein (it's in tiny print, kind of hidden in the forest there). I wonder if that's what it refers to?
I googled "Hinterthal near Greifenstein" and got hits for a street in Herborn, which is a town directly north of Greifenstein. So that's another possibility.
