Do I have the right person? Kunigunda Löhrlein
Hello,
I've been attempting to find the birthplace of my ancestor Kunigunda Löhrlein. Here's what I know from US records:
Born: 18 Oct 1830 in Bavaria (calculated from attached obituary)
Died: 11 Jun 1908 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
Marriage 1: 1854 in Cincinnati to Moritz Doernhoefer (from Bavaria)
Marriage 2: 1865 in Cincinnati to Lorenz Morsch (from Weichenwasserlos, Bavaria)
Marriage 3: ? in Cincinnati to Henry Barkau
I've found the following birth record in Ludwag, which is very close to her second husband's town: https://data.matricula-online.eu/de/deutschland/bamberg/ludwag-st-johannes-der-taufer/M3%252F15/?pg=39
Would someone be able to translate? There's a note on the right that "might" make reference to leaving for America in 1851, but that's just my guess.
The only problem is that her birthday is listed as December 18th, not October 18th. How common are discrepancies like these? Based off of this information, do you think I have the right birth record?
Thank you in advance!

My comment: Although there is no absolute proof that this is your Kunigunda Löhrlein, the probability is quite high. The name is not too common and the note about emigration fits. The error is then probably in the age given in the obituary.

Thank you, Ulrich! I went back to the 1900 US Census and was able to find her. It listed her birthday as December 1830 and immigration date of 1851, so I think that's the best confirmation I'll get.
