Greiffenstein, on 8 December [1794] between 2 and 4 p.m. two girls were born to Johann Wilhelm Neuhard and his wife Maria Catharina who were baptized on 11 December at home; witnesses were Elisabetha Schöndorf, Catharina Margaretha Neuhard the daughter of Wilhelm Neuhard, Philippina the wife of Johann Henrich Bott, and Anna Sabina the wife of Johann Georg Simon from Greifenstein. The oldest child was named Elisabetha Catharina [inserted: died], and the other Sabina Philippina.

Thank you for translating this record. It was a surprise to see the birth of twin girls. Sad one died-however it probably wasn't shortly after birth as I am not finding a death record at that time. Unfortunate that a date was not recorded.
