Help with similar records
Hello again.
Im a bit lost with two records I've found. It mithg be different parents but there where no much persons with the same name at that time (1691-1692)
This record, shows a Jacque Roumeau son of Jacuqe Roumeau.
And this one 1 year before also shows a Jaque Roumeau son of Jacque Roumeau.
What are your thoughts?

all right,
it was usual do give again the same name when the first child was died, espeacelly when it aws also the name of the father
so jacques Roumeau has one boy who called Jacques, he's probably dead soon, and the second boy was called jacques, too
but
in the first picture 29th september 1792, the father was merchant and the mother was called Marie GUéRIN.
in the second one 18th december 1791, the father was ox plowman ans the mother called Marie Du...
so Iam thinking there was 2 Jacques Roumeau( one merchant, and the other one ox plowman or the first woman of jacques roumeau was died and he got married a second time and has changed his job.
notice that Jacques was very prevalent
i am sorry but my english is not very good, hope you will understand
have a good day,
mlaure

Thank you for your feedback. I though initially that there was a "Jacque Roumeau Marchand". Now i now it was "marchand" was his occupation.
Unfortunately I think I reach the end of the tree as I cant find records from earlier than 1674.

There are two different Jacques Roumeau.
Because the First Jacque Roumeau, with Marie Guerin have had 4 childrens between 1689 and 1701 : Jean (06 dec 1689 Ballans, Charente-Maritime, France), Jacque (20 sep1692 Ballans), Jeanne (07 jan 1699 Ballans) and Marie (27 nov 1701 Ballans).
He is not the same who has had a child with another Marie the 18 dec 1691.

I think there's a mistake in the second act.
The spouse is Marie Durassier (writen Durasier in this document). She married Jean Roumeau the 7 february 1683 at Ballans. I think, Jacque, born the 18 dec 1691, was their child.
Mathurin Roumeau and Antoinette Perrodeau have had 5 children : Jacques, Jean, Pierre, Jeanne and Antoine.
Jacque married Marie Guerin, Jean married Marie Durassier, Pierre married Marie Chapron,, Jeanne married Pierre Reau and Antoine married Marguerite Piton and Jacquette Bruneliere.
I think, in the second document that the priest confused Jacque and Jean.
