Sources order being rearranged after viewing
I thought it might be my imagination, but I managed to replicate this fault today. Over the last few days, if I examine a record in the Sources section (using the new pages) the order of sources suddenly changes - i.e., one suddenly jumps to the top. For example, I have two sources attached to an ID, for 1871 & 1881 censuses, in date order. If I open up one, the order becomes reversed, with the 1881 source going to the top. To get them back in date order, without manually rearranging, I just need to go to the Details page, then straight back to the Sources page. I have never experienced this behaviour prior to the past week and it does not seem to be happening when using the old version. It's definitely an intermittent problem, so possibly difficult for the engineers / other users to pick up.
Update - currently working on an unrelated ID with lots of sources attached - now appears to be a random reordering of the sources after examining one. Still the same solution of getting them back as they were - go to Details page and straight back to Sources page.

@Paul W You have the sort option set to custom, right?

Yes. Sorry if I might have confused this point by talking of census sources being in order of date. I actually customise, so vitals sources come at the top, then census, followed by other events (so only chronological within each "category").

I'm experiencing this same "jumping" behavior. I have custom sort. I'll move a source or two and within seconds they jump back to the top of the list. Then if I refresh the page they will show where I moved them to.

This is proving to be very aggravating. Would be grateful if you could confirm it is being investigated.
I wonder if it works the same way for everybody, as only Amy seems to be acknowledging the (well described) "jumping behaviour".
Take working on https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/GKWQ-4WJ. If I click on any source (to open) it either goes to the top of the page or, along with other sources, its position on the page is changed. Still the workaround of flicking back and forth between the Sources and Details pages to get the sources back in their original order, but surely needs to be addressed?
Update - I can see where there might be a problem in solving. After posting the above, I tried to replicate and - six attempts later - the sources have still remained in their original order! Definitely intermittent.

@Paul W Your last comment just helped me reproduce the issue. I've submitted the bug report.
If you move sources and then open the details of any source, the source order will revert to the order it had when the page was first loaded. Moving sources after it has reverted isn't quite right after that.
You already mentioned the refresh workaround, specifically after the source order has been changed.
Thank you

This has been fixed.
