Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin Archives working at all?
I have been trying to access http://www.archives.haut-rhin.fr/ and http://archives.bas-rhin.fr/
I cannot find any messages in other forums commenting if these archives are down just these few days or if they are not working at all. Other archives of France seem to be working fine. I find this very odd. Has anyone tried to access them or know any info?
FamilySearch seems to have a lot of the documents from those archives but not all of them. I really wanted to take a look.

Neither website works for me (from New Zealand). Have you tried contacting the archives (e.g. by email or social media)?

Yes, I have had the same situation the last few weeks when trying to access from the United States. On the Family Search Wiki, it states that access is currently limited to people in France.

Hi, that is a good idea. I am located in Finland and, usually, EU sites are open to the whole EU. I will contact them. thank you for letting me know it is not just me. it was working before, correct?

I contacted the Alsace Archives (for Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin)

The response was that due to a security issue, access to these websites is currently limited to France and a few nearby countries. There was no estimate of how long the site would be offline.
