Adopted.com and DNA
did you guys know you can upload your dna to adopted.com? I believe you have to pay to view matches, but I got my answer that there were no matches for free. So anyway, if anyone can afford it and you wanna try it, you may have a match, I don’t think you’d have to pay unless you wanted to view matches. I think the low end cost is like $49.99 I’m not 100% sure but its somewhere in that ballpark I think

Are you registered with the site? I was going to send a query to ask about the costs and the size of their database of adoptees, but it looked like I was going to need to sign in. I am not an adoptee, nor do I have one in my family.
Is anyone registered at Adopted.com that could use the contact form and ask for more details about this?

I'm not sure exactly what to ask, but before I would want to pay to be listed in their database, I would like to know about the size of their database. Many places will start out with a free database until they get a signicicant amount of DNA added. Unless they have a large database, you might find more success with GedMatch.com. You can upload your DNA from Ancestry or 23andMe to several other companies for free. If you want to find family, you want your DNA in the place where you will find some DNA relatives.
