Russian to English - Looking for help with translating this document, please. It is a baptism record for someone with the surname Gerulis, I believe. Thank you so much for your help!

    Hello,

please provide a larger image, this is quite hard to read.

Record seems to be for Antoniy (Antonius) born 11th of June 1887, baptized 14th of June by priest Adam Karkowski [rest of the first column unclear but probably not important]. Parents Ivan and Orshulia (Urszula) Gerulis (Gerulisov), child was born in Monkow? Witnesses were Bartholomew? (Bartłomiej?) Amoniunis? and maiden Anastasia Gerulisova

    1) 1887 года июня четырнацатого дня в Старосельском католическом приходском костеле окрещен младенец по имени Антоний ксендзом Адамом Карковским? ....? 2) Мещан Ивана и Оршули Герулисов законных супругов сын родившийся сего года июня 11го в Монкове? Старосельского костела 3) Воспреемниками были мещане Вараломей? Амонюнис с Анастасиею Герулисовой девицою.

I agree with Igor that the rest of the first column is not genealogically important. It looks like this is a Roman Catholic church record from either Lithuania or Belarus...these church records generally follow a pretty standard format. Based off of my experience with other documents with a similar format to this one, it says something to the effect of "priest of this church with the performance of all rites of the sacrament."

The only other thing I would add to this wonderful translation would be that it lists the social estate of the father as a Мещан - this can be translated many different ways, but one of the most common is "petty bourgeois." You can read more about this kind of social estate here: https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9C%D0%B5%D1%89%D0%B0%D0%BD%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B2%D0%BE (the article is in Russian, but you can use google translate to help you read it).

The first column and second column also provides the name of the parish the child was baptized in - Staro Selski (Staro Selo)
