Could I have help with this document please?
Hello,
I have a document I am trying to read and it is on page 55 of this Swiss record. I am looking for two children who I think are twins- Christen and Christina, born to Peter Schneider (from Seftigen) and Anna ?? I cannot figure out her last name. I think I can see the children were born on 8 Jan 1692. Any other information you can share on these records would be so appreciated.

Let me start with an organisational comment: please, always(!) state what church record (parish) you are talking about - in this case Gurzelen.
The mother's name is Anna Pfister. The dates I see are Jan 8 and 10.
What is a bit unusual for siblings (twins or not) are two completely different "sets" of godparents. The introductory text would be very interesting in this context - unfortunately insufficient resolution to read it with certainty: please, make a full screen screen shot of this section.

This is much better, but still not easy to read :-( . I cannot give you a complete transcription right now - but I'll try to summarize what I understand:
The priest was informed on 08 Jan 1692 (likely in connection with the baptism on 10 Jan 1692) that the (identical) parents asked him to note a previous baptism, which his predecessor had performed - but forgot to document in the baptismal register. Christen was baptised on Christmas Eve 1682(!!) - so he is a brother of Christina (bapt. 10 Jan 1692) - but they are not twins.
If you agree, I will post a first attempt of a complete transcription on https://www.geneal-forum.com/ and ask people there (with more experience in canton Bern) to help complete it ... would that be ok?

Thank you so much for your help. Yes, it is Gurzelen. I was wondering what was in the paragraph previous to the record. I brightened and enlarged the page if this helps at all.

Yes, that would be wonderful.
Thank you for your kindness.

You'll find my post under https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=31563. You have to be registered (free and without any obligation) to be able to view the attachments - but then these are the files provided by you.

There is a response on https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=31563#p116467 ... not commenting on my transcription, but showing the parents' wedding entry (https://www.query.sta.be.ch/Dateien/19/D95010.pdf#page=85): again not easy to read (likely Sep 1679). If you'd find the corresponding page on familysearch (with better image quality), this might help.

Sorry - the repeated technical problems here are a nuissance. I wanted to add a comment - first attempt "discussion-ID mismatch" ... second attempt "comment will be published after review" (or something similar) ... let's see what happens 😯.

Okay, I found the marriage page and am including a full page and a section that pertains to Peter Schnyder(that looks like the spelling to me-thoughts?) and Anna Pfister. I am thinking it is the 14 Aug 1679.

I also read "Peter Schnÿder" (but don't want to exclude Schneÿder) - just keep in mind that there was no fixed spelling for names at these times - writes just wrote down what they felt they heared.
1679 is for sure - about date and month I am rather unsure. Date looks like 12 was written first - and then corrected to 14(?). I am at a loss for the month: if it were Aug, the usual tick over the u is missing - but found in the other entries by (likely) the same hand.
