Latin - occupation
I need some help with figuring out the occupation / role in the community of Christophorus Jauck from Rottenburg a/d Laaber, Bavaria in 1749.
He was [...] and a currier/tanner
It looks like: senator interioris gremii - something along the lines of city councilman interior firewood.

as I was interested in the expression I had asked on https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=32706 for help. Now there is a response - more or less confirming my interpretation, but not really adding to it a lot.
Christophorus Jauck was obviously member of some sort of board - and likely either a tanner himself, or at least engaged in the tanner guild (which would include related professions as well).
Have you got any further information on his background? You'd be welcome to discuss this further on the forum - English is fine there.
