I believe that Jonas Tumasz is on page 488 06 record #11. on pages 487 and 488 is the description of the list .

Where do the people on page 488 06 live? Is it Svinka village or Spyaglitsa estate/village

This came from the Vilnius archive.

the Spyaglitsy estate belonged at that time to the landowner Ivan Zenkovich, a colonel of the Polish army (this is indicated in the description of the revision tale)

Yang is a derivative of Jonas, so perhaps entry 11 is the person you are looking for, does the father's name match?

I believe that Jonas/Yang, entry 11 is my ancestor. Is his father's name "Gomera"? Can anyone explain the meaning of "returned from the races in 1825"?

in those days there was a class of serfs, (landowner / church) peasants who belonged to their masters. and occasionally they ran away. In this case, they returned.

could return themselves, could catch and return

in the third version, Homer is accurately read. There is doubt because of the spelling of the first two options - a fuzzy “m”, it seems “st” or “spe”, but I did not find the names Gosper and Goster, plus the author of the document has a different spelling of “p”

there is also an option that this is just Joseph, but there is a doubt due to the Jan / Jonas variation (German origin of the form)

Alex, in the 1834 census #13. Do you think that is the same person? Can you translate the family of Jonas?

    Thank you
