I am wondering if anyone knows of German families sailing from the Netherlands to United States or Canada?

I believe it was relatively common for Germans to travel to Amsterdam or Rotterdam and board a ship to North America. Hamburg was the most popular German port to leave from.

Since Germans are the most numerous ethnic group in the United States, there would be hundreds of thousands of such families.
