Last name of the bride?
Risposte

Hello @ChristinaW8
this is really hard and almost impossible to come to a unique result without additional information. The last letters could be something like -beken. I might help to look at more pages by the same scribe to compare the style of the letters - or maybe to find the same name in another entry.

This is that full page with that scribe. All the other entries which had Engel visiting other baptisms she was referred to as Engel Schwartzen.
I think the bottom of this page is the same scribe. Hopefully that gives more to look at. This scribe only wrote these two pages, then the handwriting changes to more loopy.

This might be the same scribe. Looks similar. This is death records

Hi Christina,
here comes a rather speculative idea: the family name of Engel could be Jakubek (in her case with the female ending -en = Jakubeken). Jakubek is an existing name of Polish or Czech origin (see https://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?surname=jakubek). Ancestry finds some people with this name in Pomerania, although rather in the border areas to Poland (https://www.ancestry.de/search/?name=_jakubek&event=_pommern-polen_31051&event_x=_1-0&matchAllTermsChecked=false).
