Confirmation of the names of the children on these records
This is from the baptism records in Wangeritz in the 1740s-1750s. I found a record for a Maria born to this couple (Christian Schwartzen and Maria Rühlow or Ruhlowen) in 1744. And a Regina in 1746. I am looking for some other siblings to be sure this is my relative but want to be sure of the names.
I think the first 16 July 1758 might be David, but I don’t know if that is a witness to the baptism.
The second 10 October 1753 a son Christian Schwartz
The third, 14 July 1753 a son, Carol? Also, there’s a little cross which I assume means he died, but since there is another record in 1753, how can there be two sons to the same parents with different birthdays in the same year.

Hello @ChristinaW8
here comes the translation of the three records:
In the year 1758, June 16th Maria Rhülo, the wife of Christian Schwartz, gave birth to a little son, who on the 23rd received the holy baptism and the name David. Godparents were: David Loppe__dorff; Daniel Baadke and Maria Höffsen.
In the year 1753, October 10th a "loose person" (unmarried woman) Christina Schwartz gave birth to a daughter, whose father is Christian Schwartz, Erdman Schwartz' oldest son, a farmhand. She received the baptism on the 7th. Godparents were 1. Christian Sch__?, farmer and citizen here; 2. Regina Labsen __ and Lisbeth Jan__en, both from Wangeritz.
In the year 1753, September 9th Maria Rublow, the wife of Christian Schwartz, gave birth to a little son, who on January 4th received the holy baptism and the name Daniel. Godparents were: Daniel Rublow from Pflugrade, the mother's brother, 2. Peter Schwartz, Erdman Schwartz' son, 3. Maria Schwartz.
Observations:
- the first and third record seem to name the same parents, although the maiden name of the mother is written differently. The children are named Daniel and David.
- the second record is for an illegitimate child. a girl, whose name is not given. The mother is a Christina Schwartz, the alleged father is given as Christian Schwartz. Not clear to me how he relates to the Christian Schwartz of the other two records.
