Glad France is back. With Filae and My Heritage records on line now!
My question is, as I am entering baptism records from family search French church records. Birth dates are given but no place. Baptism date and place is in Other Information under Baptism.
So when I go into do temple work I get this message.
- This person's record needs a standardized place in a birth, christening, death, burial, cremation, or marriage event. Learn more about standardizing places. Learn how to recommend an addition or correction to standardized places.
- This person's record does not have enough date, place, or relationship information to qualify for temple ordinances.
What can I do to qualify these French family names?

Dear Virginia,
If I understand well, you do have the dates of birth, but not the places. It seems to me that you have baptism places. You can enter both birth and baptism and use the baptism places as birth places. In a vast majority of cases people got baptized in the village or town where they were born, as even small places had a church. This should enable you to do the ordinances. Sometimes it may be enough to enter the name of the area and country.
Good luck with your research.

The problem is that currently when you add a record from FamilySearch records, it puts the baptism under 'Other information' instead of the christening. Until they get that fixed, you need manually add the baptism date and location to the Christening date and location. Then you shouldn't get that error message.
