ADDING MEMORIES LINKS to Community

To just add a link in a Community post - that links directly to a memories item (without having to actually upload the image to community ) - which I think is a better practice you can do the following:
In memories above each item is a "share" link
besides just "sharing" it also allows you to COPY the URL (web address) of the item.
When you click on the copy it will give you a message that the link was copied to the "clipboard" - - then you can go to any other place (such as a post you are making in community) and in the text of your message you can "right click" (paste) or ( CNTRL V) and paste the link into your message
you can do the same to any other place (such as email or a word document)

it just depends what your intention is. if your intention is merely to point your viewers to some other page/memories item - use the copy link option,
if you want to show your users an actual image in the post - then you do the other option.

(note I marked it up with red marks) - this would be an example of why I would upload it.
The choice is yours
but if you are just trying to point people at some image somewhere on the Internet - - there really is not normally the need to upload the image (in community) and just duplicate it for no good reason.
just "point to it" (via the link)
unless it is by nature more effective for you to make your point - to include it inline.
