Where wife's grandfather came from in Greece and what is his Greek last name?

This concerns a James Nicholas Chagris, KC48-GXL. Born 14 Dec 1893, in Greece per draft registration card and in Angelokristo, Greece per his wife's, Marina Pappas - (M5X2-****) Declaration of Intention. This Declaration of Intention shows her being born in Athieka, Corinth, Greece on the 28 May 1901. Per a passenger list her last name is Papanicolaou. Again, per her Declaration of Intention James came to the USA thru NY, NY on 30 March 1909. I have looked for his arrival but have had no success. I was hoping that the ships manifest would show his Greek last name which I presume was different than Chagris.
