New Homepage
I do not care about the new homepage. There are just too many changes constantly being made. As long as I can manage my family tree and make a contribution, I am happy. BTW, I have made 14, 409 contributions in the seven years since I joined FamilySearch. I am extremely grateful to the LDS Church for supporting this site and for the RootsTech Conference.

Thanks for this feedback @CDRJohnRogers - changes needed to be made for a number of reasons (see the FAQ's on this Community page) and we understand how that can be difficult. But wow - that is a tremendous effort and work you have done with so many contributions! You are helping many people in their family history work!

I like it actually. I'd created my tree years ago, and for various reasons had a gap time from it and just getting back into it now. Maybe it's because I wasn't so familiar with it for some time, but I like it. :)

I don't come to family search as much as I'd like, so I don't think I am attached to a particular homepage. I do find it frustrating when our favorite sites change. I think it can become especially irritating, for some people with cognitive issues, to have to learn new things. I already have to exert a lot of brain power into searching for my family, I don't want to use it all up just simply looking for the correct place to go on the website.
However, I do like this new homepage. First, I like seeing which Top Sites I have access to. In the past, it was way too difficult to even see who I could access. So, thank you for that change! Second, I like how clean the page looks. It doesn't have extra fluff to distract me from what I need to get done. Third, I didn't like seeing what others added. It was cool, but I'm glad it was moved to memories! Lastly, I am ever so grateful the Recently Viewed is up front and center. It is what I use most and therefore like having it viewable when I first get on the website.
Good job FamilySearch and Team.

I like the look of the new Home Page and that the focus is on different features at FamilySearch that I use often. I was unhappy to see that the Memories Feed had been removed because it is a great place to see memories other users have added for our ancestors, and it is an easy place to provide feedback for those memories without having to go to a separate part of the FamilySearch site to individual pages where many won't find comments that have been made. I was glad to see today, January 26th, that the Memories feed has been returned to the new Home Page. I like that section very much in its condensed form. I also noticed that the Family Feed is stil an active link on the Memories dropdown menu. Is that going to change when we can no longer toggle between the old and new versions of the Home Page?

@CDBurk - thanks for the feedback! You should be able to find the Memories feed now (and int eh future) in both places.

I know it will make it simpler for folks like my mom to find what they need to do (Ordinance Ready) that all too often i have to guide her through to find (from a distance, as I'm in Nebraska and she in Florida), but for my personal purposes it's lightly annoying (i wanna go straight to search when I come to the app). But for me it's only a minor inconvenience to quickly skim scroll down to find what i want, and the simplicity for folks like my mom is probably worth it, I guess.
