Translated from Polish:
Marriage Record No. 34, Hrubieszów, Roman-Catholic Parish Priest acting as the Officer of Civil Records Office, Powiat Hrubieszów, Lublin Region, dated the 26th July 1825, of a Jew, Iser Landan, a bachelor, 19 years old, according to the statement of those who knew him, written in the Municipal District Office of Hrubieszow, dated 28th June 1825, confirmed by the Peace Court of Powiat Hrubieszow on the 20th July 1825, son of Jews, Symcha and Chana legally married couple Landan. He has shown us the statement of respect prepared by the Notary of Hrubieszow, dated the 20th July 1825, for his parents, Symcha and Chana, married couple Landan, and of a Jewish maiden, Myrla (or Mirla) Szpirer, according to the statement written in Hrubieszow Municipal District Office on the 29th June 1825, of those who knew her, confirmed by the Peace Court of Powiat Hrubieszow on the 20th July 1825, that she is 17 years old, daughter of Jews Moszek and Reyzla, legally married couple Szpirer, residents of Hrubieszow. She submitted the statement of respect prepared by the Notary of Hrubieszow, for her parents, Moszek and Reyzla, married couple Szpirer. Both parties request that we proceed with their marriage ceremony. Two Marriage Banns published on the door of the Communal House, no impediment detected. We read all the documents and Section 6th of Marriage from Napoleon Code about Marriage, and we asked individually the groom and the bride if they want to marry each other, and each one of them individually stated that such was their will, we therefore announce in the name of law that Iser Landan, a bachelor and Myrla Szpirer, a maiden, are united in marriage. We recorded this fact in the presence of Jews: Liber Mann, a synagogue teacher, 73 years old, Szaps Eisyk, a merchant, 28 years old, Leyba Boryk, a merchant, 60 years old, and Zelman Asit, a Hebrew Recorder, 59 years old, all residents of Hrubieszow. This record was read and signed by us, the Parish Priest, as the witnesses cannot write in Polish.
Please note that in JRI Poland (Jewish Record Indexing) there are in Hrubieszow three birth records of sons of Iser Lande/Landa, and of his wife, Mirla, born Szpirer, years 1828, 1842, 1844. There are no birth records of Iser Landan or Mirla Szpirer as they might have moved from a distant location, and that is why they needed the statement of those who knew them about their ages. Also about the time of 1800-1812 in those areas Jewish people were required to adopt surnames, instead of using patronymic names (of their fathers). Without written or printed IDs you are seeing the variations of written and maybe pronounced differently surnames.
