Johann Nicol des Johannes Dürcken und seiner Eh[e]l[iche] Hausfrauen Anna Chatharina Söhnl[ein] ist den 26ten Apr[i]l gebohr[en] und den 30ten hujus getaufft und Johann Nickel genannt worden; die Tauffzeugen waren Nickel Frick des Adam Fricken Sohn, und Wilhelm Wenz des Wilhelm Wenzen hinterlassener Sohn, et Maria Catharina Dürckin als des Vatters Schwester, allesamt ledige von hier.

Translation:

Johann Nicol, little son of Johannes Dürcken and his legitimate wife Anna Catharina, was born on the 26th of April and was baptized on the 30th of this month and was named Johann Nickel; the baptismal witnesses were Nickel Frick, son of Adam Frick, and Wilhelm Wenz, surviving son of Wilhelm Wenz, and Maria Catharina as the father's sister, all of them single from here.

Comment: The child's second name is spelled two different ways in this record: Johann Nicol and Johann Nickel.
