Can't get my gedcom info onto the Family Tree

@amylynnfr The functionality available to you will depend on where you are in the world, since FS is currently rolling out its 'User Trees' functionality which will eventually prevent the bulk loading of gedcom information into the main Family Tree, instead loading the gedcom into a private, editable User Tree from which entries can be reflected individually into the main Tree.
If, as sounds to be the case, your locality is still on the 'old' system and your gedcom has gone into a read-only Pedigree Resource File, please see this example thread for a detailed discussion of the matter:
The 'CET' referred to there is now called 'User Tree', and the functionality to populate main Tree entries from User Trees (under development at the time of that thread) is now in place.
If the above mentioned thread doesn't put you off using the 'old system' gedcom comparison tool (which, frankly, I hope it does), the tool is documented here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-copy-information-from-my-gedcom-file-into-family-tree

@amylynnfr thank you for using FamilySearch and for your feedback. Did you private tree have a name? Please send a screenshot of that tree showing the name and how many persons are in the tree.

I am in Utah. I have several small gedcoms I would like to add to the main Family Search tree. My brother, also in Utah, is able to add small gedcoms, which then can connect into the main tree. Mine just creates the CET trees which stand alone. My main purpose in doing this work is to send my family names to the temple, so this isn't helpful to me, as I cannot send names to the temple from a CET. One of the trees I'm trying to add is called Ruttenbucher. It has 14 individuals in it.

@amylynnfr thank you for that additional information. I am not sure User Tree (formerly CET) is the appropriate feature for you. You can certainly compare and copy names to/from your User Tree to the FamilySearch Family Tree, but you cannot upload GEDCOM files directly to the FamilySearch Family Tree. Also, User Trees do not contain any ordinance information. That is all contained in the FamilySearch Family Tree. To use TreeLinker to compare and copy between your User Tree created from your GEDCOM and the FamilySearch Family Tree, please read the discussions regarding this in this group. There are many screenshots and step by step directions to guide you through that process.
