From, my 'lowly', reading; and, understand ...
And, I stand corrected, if I am wrong ...
The 'Place' name of "Burgh St Margaret, Norfolk, England" is more an, "Alternate"; or, "also known as", name, rather than the "Name".
I would have considered that the better name of the 'Place' is, either, "Fleggburgh"; or, "Flegg Burgh" - I will let you good people decide.
So, I would suggest that, either, "Fleggburgh"; or, "Flegg Burgh", is NOT just a "Alternate Name"; or, "also known as"; but, WOULD be the better 'Place' Name.
Humbly submitted for your, information; attention; and, reconsideration.
'Thank in advance'
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU IN THIS IMPORTANT WORK
Yours Faithfully,
Brett

I understand your concern. Burgh doesn't quite seem like the appropriate name for a place. However, in looking at all the websites you recommended, and then doing a little more research, I found that "Burgh" is actually the name the English folks gave this place. As a matter of fact, Burgh Castle was once a parish. (Odd name for a parish, isn't it?)
In all the authoritative sources you and I found, Burgh is shown to be the appropriate name. So don't be surprised if you find it in any of the variant names it's been called.
For your suggestion, and after considerable research, I found the name Fleggburgh is the most appropriate for us to use in FamilySearch Places.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

This caught my eye as much of my research relates to the county of Norfolk. I would agree that Fleggburgh seems most appropriate for the "Place" name and Burgh St Margaret for the parish name. To add to your links, here is the GENUKI one:
The screenshot illustrates the current four options provided when inputting / standardising in Family Tree:
I also looked through the Archdeacon's Transcripts images at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-63JS-X1V?wc=M625-2PN%3A160239801%2C160390301%2C160244602%2C160239804&cc=1824688 and found "Burgh St Margaret" is generally used at the top of the pages, although "Burgh" has been used for some periods.

Sorry, I had to "Wait" until your "Image" appeared ...
[ ie. "Image Moderation" ... Until the "Hour Glass" disappeared ... ]
'Thank You' for that supporting detail.
And ...
As to, those current Four (x4) Options, when using "Burgh St.Margaret, Norfolk, England" ...
That is fine ...
But ...
That said ...
I was, looking for; and, after, one of just "Fleggburgh, Norfolk, England"; WITHOUT, that 'Suffix' of "United Kingdom" ...
I has also tried ...
Without success ...
And, then, I started to 'Question' if, in fact, that "Burgh St.Margaret" was even the most appropriate; and, was thinking, just maybe, that "Fleggburgh" seemed to be the more appropriate.
Who knows ...
I will leave that up to the experts ...
Just my thoughts.

Forgive my oversight. Fleggburgh is now the Display Name for both time periods, with Burgh St Margaret, etc. as variant names.
