Bas-Rhin record help request
Hello,
I am new to using the Bas-Rhin archive records. I have found a birth record of a relative from 1795 that may help me get started. Perhaps someone can help me translate this record as an example that will allow me to function independently with future records like this.
The record is a birth record for Maria Elisbetha Rombs, daughter of Franz Ludwig Rombs and Margaretha Werner. The date has conveniently been added at the top of the document - 30 September 1795. Here is the url of the record - http://archives.bas-rhin.fr/detail-document/ETAT-CIVIL-C234-P1-R154088#visio/page:ETAT-CIVIL-C234-P1-R154088-1575251 .
As background, I understand that the Republican calendar is used, and I can read French and Latin poorly, but I am motivated.
Thanks for your consideration.

Craig,
I cannot read French but I know on https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/France_Genealogy there are tools you can use to decode church and civil records.
There are even some short videos to train you in how to translate/read the records and some tips for how to write for records if you choose to do so.
I hope this helps.

I am communicating a discovery about the text in my original request. Perhaps this will help others. The discovery is that the original text is written in German, not French! (Maybe I should not be surprised based on the locale.) An acquaintance in Germany has kindly transcribed and translated it for me as follows. The birth appears to have taken place on 30 September 1795 in the Gregorian calendar if I understand the conversion properly.
