Birth and marriage records

Bernard Girma

I would appreciate any help locating the birth and marriage records of Paula Maria Stoss.

She was born in Vienna on October 7 1878. She was Jewish. She was a professional concert pianist from 1905 to 1913 in Vienna. She moved to the US in 1946 and died in California in 1957.

She married Dr, Siegfried Türkel born Jan 1st 1875 in Vienna, He died in 1933

@Bernard Girma There are many indexes for Vienna records on the Austrian website https://genteam.at/ so I would start there (it's free, but you do need to create an account). The image I've added is an index entry for their marriage in the civil marriages index on GenTeam--it looks like her full name was Leopoldine. There are also links to other helpful websites and research helps on the FamilySearch wiki page for Vienna that will get you started: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Vienna,_Austria_Genealogy. Siegfried Turkel's birth is on FamilySearch: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:H5YJ-BJ2M, but there are no Stoss entries, so she might have been born somewhere other than Vienna.

I am still looking for Leopoldine birth record, I hope I will find it eventually. Without that I am a bit stuck for that branch.
