Meaning of "Musqvet."
I'm wondering what the role of Peder Svendsen is in this family. I think the mother (Alet Sørensdatter) here is listed as a widow. Is Peder the father? What does it mean where it says his role is "Musqvet."?

Would this mean that as an infantry soldier, he carried a musket? It seems likely, but I don't know.
