Vobbia, Genova, Italy
Greetings from Argentina. My ancestors lived in Caprieto and Salata, small towns originally part of Crocefieschi comune (Genova) and after 1903 part of the new Vobbia comune. So it is difficult to get information of the people living in these small towns and surroundings after 1903 (not more using the civil registry in Crocefieschi). As I have seen, the Vobbia documents are not freely available on the Family Search website. Do you know if they will be on line in the future? Additionally to this, it would be great if the baptisms, marriages and death acts of Sant'Antonio di Salata (Salata, Vobbia or Crocefieschi, Genova, Italia) become available too (remembering that civil registry began to work in 1866, and before that the parrocchias of the towns maintained those information). Thanks for your comments and have a nice weekend.

There may be more civil records for Genova province to be filmed; it depends on whether or not the tribunale court of Genova (which has jurisdiction over the state copies of records of Vobbia) makes them available for filming.
As far as church records, their availability depends on the willingness of the Catholic Church to allow the records to be filmed. That decision may be made at the diocese level; there is not a uniform policy regarding access to records and often the final decision is given to the pastor of the local church.
