Julie, it's a poem! After transcribing it, I put the whole things into the correct lines - I'll work on a translation but this is what I've got so far.
C tyd då skall du ensam i verlden få gå
C och gammal mamsell skall man kalla dig då
B och sedan på kartan dig skrifva

This is my artistic take on translation, so it's not exact, but I tried to give you the same feel and meaning of the original poem. If you have any questions, let me know! (If someone else notices that I've interpreted something wrong, I'm open for feedback as well)
A Our birthday, to us, is always so dear,
B and we are glad every year when it arrives
A but there are some, who foolishly are
B reluctant to rejoice, so they cry.
C The years fly by and hair turns grey.
C And they still haven't found a fiance
B If only we could turn back time.
A We wish with all our heart and soul
B that this won't be the case with you.
A but if, this happens, it is the fault
B of all the basket cases rejected by you.
C So, alone in the world you will get to sojourn
C and Old Lady shall they call you then
B And then you will be written on the map!
