Barbara,
Could you please give more info so we can best help you? What was your great grandmother's name and surname? Who did she marry?
Here's some records on FamilySearch catalog that should help you get started. It starts too late to include her birth records, but you may find her marriage record and information. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1025030?availability=Family%20History%20Library.
If those records are not helpful you can contact the mayor and/or parish priest directly. Here's the contact info:

Buona Fortuna.

Although any Palo is possible, in this early era, it's almost certainly going to be the closest one, which is why I suggested Palo del Colle (historically known simply as Palo). That said, even Palo del Colle is 90km away which is quite a lot in those days, so who knows. It would really be useful to have the 1874 marriage record because that would give you the bride's birthplace very clearly, and also the bride's age and mother's name, which would make identifying her birth very straightforward.
I too checked the Palo marriages for 1874, and there's nothing there, so they probably married in Cisternino. Unfortunately, as you're probably aware, Cisternino records after 1866 are not online.
In theory, since you have the exact marriage date (10 Dec 1874) and the marriage certificate number (#57), you could attempt to request an actual marriage certificate from the comune of Cisternino directly. There is no guarantee of a reply, but it's certainly worth a try.
The Archivio di Stato di Brindisi may or may not own the civil records for Cisternino after 1866. It's certainly worth contacting them to ask (see: http://www.archiviodistatobrindisi.beniculturali.it/index.php?it/265/ricerche-per-corrispondenza). If the Archivio di Stato di Brindisi owns these records, then they should be able to photograph the relevant record for you for a nominal fee. If they do not, it's possible that a different Archivio di Stato owns them, such as the Archivio di Stato di Bari or the Sezione di Archivio di Stato di Trani, or even the Archivio di Stato di Taranto or the Archivio di Stato di Lecce, and it's possible to ask each of them.

Can you show us the marriage record in 1874?
I'm pretty sure her birthplace is Palo del Colle.

Thank you so much for your answer.
It seems that the wedding took place in Palo but unfortunately I don't have it at the moment.
I'll have a look at the birth documents in Palo.

It seems that nothing is in Palo del Colle records. I see there's a Palo in Liguria (prov. Savona) and also a Palo in Spain
