Would someone check to see if I translated this Marriage record correctly # 3? http://www.landesarch
Stephan Rathgeber, B 21 August 1807, son of Kaspar Rathgeber & Magdalena Schreiber, Married on 9 May 1848, Deceased wife Anna Maria Hirte ? in previous marriage record we translated it as Hinte but this record spelling looks like an R to me??? Bride is Katharina Heck? child of Kaspar Heck? & Margaretha Ekart? from Markelsheim? she was born 2 May 1822. Thanks so much!!!

Re: Hinte vs. Hirte:
I went back to the previous record and then compared the spelling in this record. Clearly the name is "Hirte" in this record. In the previous record, the "n" in what we read as "Hinte" could be a lazy "r". Given the clarity of the name in this record, go with "Hirte" in both records.
