Week 18 (April 26-May 2) Who can share their favorite family photo? Why is it your favorite? Examp
- The expressions on their face.
- Things that they were caught doing - I have a photo of my grandmother pulling a kids ear! Her expression suggests that she didn't mean to get caught doing it!

The variety of expressions makes this a great photo. Do you know who everyone is? Have you recorded this info with your photo?

Then there’s this one that is my mom with her 12 of 13 brothers and sisters and their mom (my grandmother has 7boys 7girls)
And the thing I like about these is it was kinda like a tradition they had .. and they all made sure it happened while they were all still living ❤️ That’s me in the window photo bombing the pic 🤣

Here are 3 versions of the same image of my Grandmother holding my older sister in 1956. The black-and-white original (see bottom photo) was enhanced by the photo app "Remini." Notice how much better focus it made of my Grandma's face. Incredible! Then, using MyHeritage's new photo colorizing capability, I got the color version on top. It's great, except it made her eyes brown when they were actually blue. Photos are the means by which I do much family history research. They provide great clues, and even lost children are found by this method.

I love these photos! What a beautiful lady! It is interesting how color changes things. I did not even notice the people in the background before the color photo.
I love seeing the contented child in her lap.
Thanks for sharing!

I must be a mom....I was thinking about those kids and watermelon dripping all over their dresses. I wonder if the younger generation realizes that we had to wear dresses. I remember finally being allowed to wear pants to school. The girls weren't too excited about going on a monorail above the park in our dresses. We were glad that we could wear pants.
I wish that I had a photo of the outfit that I wore. I am pretty sure that it was green pants with loud red flowers that matched my red fringed purse. I have no idea what my shirt looked like, but I was pretty cool in that get up.
