Death Record No. 26, Pstrągowa, Roman Catholic Parish, of Thecla (Tekla in Polish) Maślak, who died on the 2nd May 1877, buried on the 4th May 1877, she lived 25 years, cause of death inflammation, a legitimate daughter of Casimirus (Kazimierz) and Catharina (Katarzyna) born Krok, married couple Maślak, farmers from Tropie, Parish Strzyżów.
Inflammation usually refers to pneumonia, seldom to brain inflammation. Pstrągowa is about 4 kilometers from Tropie village, and about the same distance from Tropie to Strzyżów Parish, see pilot.pl = mapa.szukacz.pl - download the map, X the advertisements, click on "Ukryj" next to "Hotele" on the right hand side of page, to eliminate all the H's which are hotel advertisements, enter in top box on the right e.g. Tropie, Strzyzow or Pstragowa, then click on the place on the map with that name, then move the mouse without pressing on it to another place, e.g. from Tropie to Strzyzow, you will see in the red box at the bottom of the page on the right the distance in kilometers. You may enter in the top box, for example part of the name of place, e.g. Strzyz and then click on the Strzyżów below with Polish letters, you will have the Polish spelling in the box which you may use, if you want to, in the translation. You are doing very well with your translations. Congratulations.
