WSeelentag It would be great if we could learn more about Anna Gneser however she is not found on the FS Tree. There must be a good story there. However did find her baptism:

I don't expect a good story - she already died 29 Nov same year.

Her parents had married 01.02.1622 - explains the "hand vor d(er) Zytt ghan …". Whilst I cannot decipher the last word - it must mean intercourse … before the time (of the marriage).

Now I remember - as she's not (known) related to him I didn't mention it in the forum - and put her name somewhere rather deep in my memory 🤨. Mentioning her in the topic about the Bevölkerungsverzeichnis would have been better - connection would have been obvious.

The Roman calendar has some special formulations when it comes to a specific date:
calendae -> first day of the month: cal. sept. = calendae septembris = September 1
nonae -> fifth day of the month (but the seventh day in March, May, July and October!)
idus -> thirteenth day of the month (but the fifteenth day in March, May, July and October!)
pridie -> the day immediately before: pridie idus septembris = September 12th
ultimus -> last day of the month. As far as I know, this formulation is not part of the Roman calendar. It was used by the pastors who wrote the entries in Latin.
