A Note about potential problems surrounding Memories
Just to make users aware. . .
For the next few months, the Engineers will be working on updating lots of code and fixing lots of pages surrounding the Memories function of FamilySearch. While they manage these updates, some functions might not work properly. For example, one user reported being unable to use the “People” link. Additionally, some known issues with the Memory Viewer might take longer to fix.
These problems might relate directly to the Memory Viewer, or they might relate to other functions surrounding Memories, like the links for “People” or “Find.”
Please continue to post any challenges you face. Also be aware that fixes might not be immediate. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Guest was trying to tag a memory from Gottlieb Friedrich Jentner M57Q-G97 person page to family members listed on the memory page. Guest noted that some of the names attached by adding their PIDs. Others had a message that said Attach to Family Tree. When she clicked on that button, a screen came up to add the PID. She entered the PID and clicked on the Find PID box. That box gave her the message that no one by that PID could be found. When we clicked on the big blue box to Search for Person, it took us to the search for person page where she was able to type in the PID and attach from there. Once she hit that attach button, a big Oops something has gone wrong message came up. By going back to Recents, we discovered that the tag had been added to the memory. Guest is concerned that having to go through this process for every tag will make people not want to tag anymore.
