In the profile screen, the Research Help group now contains the Profile Quality Score section (it has very recently been moved from the profile header section). If there are Research Help items, clicking one one of them causes the Quality Score panel to be displayed instead of the appropriate Research Suggestion or Record Information panel. This appears to be general for any profile that has Research Help items. In the image below, I have clicked on the first hint shown.
This happens each time such a profile is opened, either in a new browser tab or by changing the profile person in the current tab. Workarounds appear to be to click on another Research Help item of a different type (if there is one) or to refresh the page. Refreshing the page immediately after loading the profile also appears to avoid the problem.
This problem can occur if there is something other than a hint in the Research Help section and you click on that.
I have flagged this discussion as a bug report.

Yes, I am having this same issue, starting this morning. If I completely close FamilySearch and then log back in, I can access 1 or 2 research hints, but then the Quality Score panel takes over again and I can't access specific research hints or merge possibilities.

Is this still happening? I am having trouble recreating the issue. Can you give me more details? What browser are you using? It appears that the hint given on Charles Harold Nolan G912-VGK has already been added because it no longer shows in the Research Help section. Can you give me another PID that it is happening on?
