Group member as administrator not visible in group
My husband and I have an existing group to share ordinances with posterity. We heard about Family Group Trees and he added the existing group to be a "Family Group Tree." He added me to the group and made me an administrator. I can see and edit the group but get a message that I am "not found in the tree" and to ask an administrator to be added. Am I in his Family Group Tree or only the Family group? What do I need to do to actively work within the group?

At this point, you are only in the Family Group, but not connected to the Family Group Tree. Your husband needs to make sure that there is a profile for you in the FGT and then connect your user to that profile.

@LindaRAmes Were you able to figure this out? Are you able to work in the Family Group Tree now?

We have not been able to move forward beyond this frustration. We want to spend time helping family and instead are attempting and reattempting negotiating the program. 😐️

@LindaRAmes First, your husband needs to have created a profile in the tree for you. If he has done that and the system still says you are not in there, check how your husband entered your information and compare that to how your information is logged in your FamilySearch > Settings. The system is looking at your account information and trying to match it up with a profile in the Family Group Tree. It is usually pretty good at matching, but sometimes doesn't get it right.
Things to look for: Did he enter your maiden surname or your married surname? Did he get your birth date correct? Is your birth date logged in your FamilySearch > Settings?
If this doesn't work, please let me know and we will move on to other possibilities.
