Undo button disabled
Can not do undo merge:
After the merge, I deleted duplicate name in "Also Known as"
And noticed this husband had 2 wives, I find I can NOT do the undo merge at all. completely blocked just because of a single change I made.
I am very very afraid to find lots more bad merges that need to be undone as the result of this new feature (it's very bad!)

If any other action has been taken after the merge, the undo button is disabled, by design.

Still a bad move.

@W D Samuelsen contact me please Thank you for the feedback. Can you share the PID number for the profile that you are referring to, so that we can look at the issue?
Also, here is an article that might help:

Rhonda, you haven't seen Merge Analysis, did you?
That is the issue.
I was able to UNDO the merge by copying the PID then go to her PID, and it came up in black, stating the person had been merged, to see new PID, proceeded to click "restore person".
That is complete different method.

@W D Samuelsen contact me please There are two ways to "undo" a merge.
- If no other changes have been made to the person since the merge, you can do a complete Undo via the UNDO MERGE button in the Change Log, which now includes Merge Analysis.
- As Áine Ní Donnghaile correctly noted, if any change has been made, then you don't have the UNDO MERGE option. In that situation, the next best choice is to go the the person deleted in the merge, and do the RESTORE PERSON option available in the black header for a deleted person. That's the option you described, and that's the best way to do the Undo once the UNDO MERGE option is no longer available.
Both these options are noted in the article that @Rhonda Budvarson helpfully linked to (the first one is described in step 11, and the second is in step 12). That article was very recently updated to include the specific steps now that Merge Analysis is available by default. But the basic issue that UNDO MERGE is available only if no other changes have been made to the profile has been the same for the many years an Undo has been a possibility — it is unchanged by the availability of the Merge Analysis, even if the button text and position has been slightly updated.
