What to do next? How can I find his parents? If someone can help I will be very happy! In my grandmother's wedding book, there is no mention of the parents or sisters of either one of my great-grandparents. I have not found my great-grandmother's birth or parents. All I know is that her name was (Lina?)Bertha Maria Engelhart was born in Germany May 4 1850. My mother lost them in the war as all her aunts and uncles. They lived in Leipzig when married.

The record you have is likely a naturalization record when he moved to Leipzig. A quick transcription of what I can read:
210. Füchsel, Karl August, am 3 April 1843 in
Neidschütz geboren Sprachleshrer;
Erdmannstraße 7. (in Berlin)
Aufnahmen Urk r. 13 März 1872English: 210. Karl August Füchsel, b. April 3, 1843 in Neidschütz, language teacher, (potentially previous residence) Erdmannstraße 7. (in Berlin). Recorded March 13, 1872.
Regarding records on Karl August, I would recommend searching around his birth place of Neidschütz, though there doesn't really appear to be anything… Make sure to also search around the area though, maybe even census records or anything similar if needed.

Thank you. I have been searching for other Füchsels (Fuechsel ect) on My Heritage and Geni. I found a family with many children, the last one born 1841. They had many children and she died in 1856. My mother understood that Karl KLFC-1WY lived with his aunt or sister when he was a child/young. He then escaped to Franch Legiona and even managed to escape back. He was the scribe in maybe it was if I remember correctly the Versailles peace treaty. Anyway, it was before the big war, between Germany and France.
He married in 1872 With Bertha Engelhart (Lina Bertha Maria?). Their first child was born in Leipzig on July 9, 1873. My grandmother was the 2nd child. I have a stambuch of their marriage somewhere in my mother's stuff, but it has no relatives written to it.
This is the family I have been thinking might have had Karl as the last child: 9N44-WVK The timing would fit very well for this. But they did not live in Halle, but close in Türingen. Could the birthplace after all be in another place, not in Neidschütz.
I can not recall that he had lived in Berlin. Maybe he met his wife there, it has been difficult to find her family too, many of whom had moved to Russia my mother said.
Unfortunately, the family disappeared in the war, all of them, only the youngest child's inlaw's family there was someone my mother continued to write with and they knew nothing of Füchsels family and what had happened to them in the war.
I work for FamlySearch Nordic myself, but I have not managed to find anything of these two Karl and Bertha in years. I have been wondering if I need to hire an expert.

Your clipping clearly states that Karl August Füchsel was born on April 3, 1843 in Neidschütz ( https://www.kirchenkreis-eisenberg.de/gemeinden/camburg-leislau) to which Neidschütz belongs now with an inquiry about the availability of the church records (pfarramt.camburg-leislau@web.de).
). So the most direct way to find his parents is to find his birth record, which should be in the church books of the (Protestant) church of Neidschütz. Unfortunately the church books of Neidschütz do not seem to be available on Archion yet and it is not clear (to me) in which archive they are kept. You may want to contact the Pfarrbereich Camburg-Leislau (2 -
Thank you. I will!
