List of record collections
Perhaps I have missed it, but is it still possible to get to the list of, say, land records as we did before text searching was enabled? It can be very helpful to run through a deed index book page by page, but I cannot find the old link that would take you to that county's list of records from the wiki. Thank you.

I hear you. I have found several ways to get an incomplete list of collections, and it seems the restricted image collections are not always included. Search Images is definitely excluding restricted collections, so sad to see that. Whether or not it is a complete listing if you are at a FSC, probably, but I haven't tried that just yet. The old catalog includes restricted collections, but sometimes doesn't have all the images. Supposedly the old catalog isn't being updated, but I know for a fact it has been updated during 2024 because I have screenshots proving that collections have been added. However it can't be trusted to be complete. The wiki is even less reliable. Speaking of less reliable, the new catalog has at least some collections listed as microfilm when they are actually restricted and perfectly online as long as you are at an FSC. So, no, there does not seem to be a single search location where, from home you can say "Alexa, show me all the land record collections for Ripley County Indiana" (figuratively, of course).
I hope they fix that. It would be quite helpful to note that the full text search fails to bring up a single deed for a specific location, for example, and be able to go to a place like search images and bring up the collections. Then you could click them and verify that, yes, you need to be at an FSC.

You can now get a list of all collections that have been added to Full Text Search.
