"A landskamrerare was a title for an official employed at the Swedish county administrative boards (länsstyrelser). The corresponding position first appeared in the 1620s, with the holder initially called landsbokhållare or landsskrivare. From 1719, the term landskamrerare was used, and it was still in use during the 20th century."

Thanks so much for your quick help. If I understand this correctly, he was a county employee who worked in some capacity on the land in that area.
I should have put the timeframe in my question as it always seems to be important. This term was in his death record in the mid 1800's.
I appreciate the help!
