The document you refer to is not the wedding entry of 07 Mar 1842 - it is the announcement 27 Feb 1842 in Wetzikon. Unfortunately it doesn't mention where the wedding took place
The next document is the corresponding announcement in Ottenbach.
I have checked St.Peter (the "usual suspect") - but no corresponding entry.
In the last column of the Ottenbach record the parishes seem to be listed where the marriages had taken place. For this one it starts with an "H" - but the resolution is insufficient to determine the parish: could you get a higher resolution image of "1842 Johannes Sidler and Lisabeth Jenta marriage Wetzikon, 27 February 1842
film 8126955 page 873"?2 -
Done! The Ottenbach records are very dark around the edges. I lightened it up and tinted it -hoping it gives you enough to read the last column. I added a close up of Page 535 Jenta Familienregister as referenced in the Wetzikon marriage document.

Thank you for the new image copy. I don't think it would have helped me here - but in general I would prefer to get the original file to play around with it myself 😉.
Now for this page. Reading more of the text I feel it more likely is an "F" rather than "H". The only thing I am sure about - it's not Wetzikon! In such cases I find it useful to check for places in a given canton - e.g. Zürich. Fällanden comes closest - although I can't see any indication why they should go to Fällanden to get married. You may want to check Fällanden - before we give up ☹. Familienregister doesn't help here.

I posted the original at the bottom of the page in case you want to try.
I checked Fällanden. Nothing there.

Thank you for the image and for checking Fällanden! As I had mentioned, my hope was quite limited. I have now asked in three other groups - again little hope, but worth trying.
Years ago there were reports about the Zürcher Ehedatenbank being extended to 1875: nothing online yet, but I also enquired whether anyone had further news on the project. In one of the groups the former Zürich State Archivist reads the posts - let's see if he has anything to report.
Now for the two announcements - although this will not include anything new for you.
Wetzikon:
27. Febr. (1842) Johannes Siedler v(on) Ottenbach
Elisabetha Jenta Rud(olfs) sel(ig) v(on) Ettenhausen, n(ata) 8.IV.1816 S(esshaft) in Ottenbach. The (535) might refer to a Bürgerregister. / cop(uliert) 7. III. (no mention, where).
Ottenbach:
Febr. 27 (1842) Johannes Siedler v(on) Ott(enbach) u(nd) A(nna) Elisabeth Jenta v(on) Ettenhausen.
The last column seems to give the parishes where the ceremonies were held - like St.Peter or Ossingen - but the one of interest here I cannot decipher.

WSeelentag Your entries are always more complete and more accurate than mine. Thanks for deciphering and thinking about this marriage.
The Familienregister between the two marriages has a page number of 535 on upper right of the page.
It does make sense they would be married in Wetzikon or Ottenbach or St. Peter. We gave this entry a good effort.

I just had a mail from Hans Ulrich Pfister (retired head of Zürich State Archive). During a recent visit to the Archive he looked at the Ottenbach film - unlike with the digitized image, the place could be clearly read as "hier", i.e. Ottenbach.
When I look at the catalogue entry for DGS=8126955 I read:
Tote (auswärtige Bürger) 1829-1864 (rückw.) Taufen (auswärtige Bürger) 1796-1864 (rück.) Konfirmanden 1833-1864 (rückwärts) Tote ̈ 1780-1864 (rückwärts) Taufen 1860-1864 (rückwärts) Eheverkündigungen 1806-1864 (rückwärts) Heiraten 1780-1864 (rückwärts) Taufen 1780-1860 (rückwärts).
The copy you put online was the Eheverküdigung (announcement) - if I interpret the catalogue correctly, this should be followed by the actual marriages - so there you should find the actual marriage entry a little bit (a week or so) later.

Wow, thanks for doing this. I walked through the end of the film and can only find one section that has marriages for 1824. I looked around the marriage announcement in 1824 in Ottenbach we already have and don't see any additional entries for Johannes and Susanna. The description you posted makes it look like there are separate sections for announcements and marriages. Can't find two sections.

I cannot access the films - just the catalogue (see above) which indicates two separate sections for announcements and actual marriages. The filming seems to have been done in reverse order - which will not be helpful.
BTW - we are looking for 1842 - not 1824.
