First search in Sweden - dead end?
New to Swedish sources. Ancestor of interest Karl Axel, #9, born 1880, oakta, image of record. No father.
Is there anywhere else where fathers name may be found? Mother married 3 years later and Karl Axel is known all his life by stepfathers name. Would there be any records, like adoption?
I am interested in Swedish ancestry before 1860. Is it worthwhile to take an Arkiv Digital subscription? Thank you.

His father is unknown, I've tracked him from birth but it's clear that the father never stepped forward.

@KathyLove3 You may consider trying DNA to solve the unknown father. Sign up for a genealogy consultation with a Swedish or DNA expert to see if your problem could be solved through DNA.
